Belgian Blue Premier Sale Roscrea Saturday the 22nd October
The sale drew a great pre sale interest with a full house for the judging of the classes by Mr Timmy Hannon, Kilfinny, Adare, Co Limerick.
With very strong competition for the Champion title it was the Heros Du Peroy son Rosemount Dereck out of Rosemount Ulla bred By Trevor Ashmore was tapped forward as the Male Champion of the day and he came out on top again in the sale ring at €6200 to Fred Suderland, Wexford with the reserve title going to Heatherview Des By Germinal De Fooz out of Castlecuff Tammy bred by Tommy Fitzgerald, Clonaslee, Laois. Tuam Weanling Sale 16th January 2012
A great start to the New Year at Tuam Marts first U-Grade Weanling sale of 2012. The popularity of Tuam Mart as a centre of excellence for U-Grade Weanling bulls and Heifers was evident on Monday last for both sellers and buyers. Live shippers were very active around the ring as well a local farmer buyers, with bulls making up to €1070 over their weight and heifer weanlings up to €950. There was a complete clearance with prices maintained or improved.
