Belgian Blue Premier Sale Roscrea Saturday the 22nd October
The sale drew a great pre sale interest with a full house for the judging of the classes by Mr Timmy Hannon, Kilfinny, Adare, Co Limerick, with very strong competition for the Champion title it was the Heros Du Peroy son Rosemount Dereck out of Rosemount Ulla bred By Trevor Ashmore was tapped forward as the Male Champion of the day and he came out on top again in the sale ring at €6200 to Fred Suderland, Wexford with the reserve title going to Heatherview Des By Germinal De Fooz out of Castlecuff Tammy bred by Tommy Fitzgerald, Clonaslee, Laois.
The female champion went to Castlecuff Evelin by Empire D’Ochain out of Castlecuff Ada bred by Denis Foynes , Clonaslee,Laois sold for €3000 to Aidan Barnett ,Co Laois and the reserve going to Corrandulla Emma by Heros Du Peroy out of Rathlyon Becky bred By Derrick Forde, Corrandulla, Galway sold for €3000 to Trevor Jackson, Kiltegan, Wicklow.
